Version: PDF Tool Box 1.2
Pros: I used the tiff splitter to undo the damage that the multipage tiff compiler had done, and it worked just fine. Pretty fast, too, for splitting a TIFF file with over 600 pages.
Cons: I had a very large number of individual TIFF files for a book (over 600) and since I don't often work on projects like this I didn't want to purchase a program for compiling them into one tiff so I could turn it into a PDF. They were all greyscale images, hardly any text, so resolution and such was highly important to the finished product. When I pointed the compiler to the proper folder and hit the button, it did compile the files as promised. However, it turned the greyscale images into bitmaps, nearly ruining them for my purposes. Plus, it DELETED ALL THE ORIGINAL FILES. I really wish I'd known it was going to delete all those files and leave me with one horribly translated file.
