PDF Ghostscript Tool is a powerful interface for RedMon and Ghostscript - the free PostScrtip and PDF interpreter. RedMon redirects the printer output to an external program and Ghostscript can convert PostScript files to PDF files. PDF Ghostscript Tool is receives the printer data from RedMon and creates PDF files with Ghostscript. With PDF Ghostscript Tool you can create PDF files easily. Version 2.0.3 has an automatic installation and configuration wizard.

Version: PDF Ghostscript Tool 2.0.3
Pros: I downloaded and installed some other application (I forget which one it was now), and after it installed, I got a message that said I had to install GhostScript first. I uninstalled the other application and located and downloaded and installed GhostScript and reinstalled the other program and it works. I reckon GhostScript does whatever it is supposed to do.

Pros: It does what nothing else I know does!
Creates PDF files (9 pages maximum?) that can easily be copied to MS Word, Excel, Notepad etc. using Acrobate Reader 7.0
Cons: IT can be installed and it DOES WORK but FIRST you have to install:

GSview 4.8,
AFPL Ghostscript 8.53,
Redirection Port Monitor (create your own folder),
Adobe Universal PostScript Windows Driver Installer 1.0.6
ALL 4 OF THEM ARE NECESSARY !!!
Then you have to configure and show/tell the PDF Ghostscript Tool where the .exe file are for GSview and RedMon.

Pros: None, cause I couldn't get it to work.
Cons: Impossible to install. CNET, please stop the lies and remove this sentence from the description, "With PDF Ghostscript Tool you can create PDF files easily." Thanks!

"Does not work upon installation."
Pros: I learned that the application does nothing very quickly, making the time investment small.
Cons: Does not function in any way, shape or form. Puts "FREE" in big bold letters as if a free application is a big deal when it does nothing.
Summary: The product is trash. You download it and install it. It then tells you to download and install something else. Sounds like a virus. So I download & installed the application suggested using download.com to find the other download. After that po... read more >>

Summary: I have occasionally run to this program over the years and installed it and even gotten it to work.
