Publisher's Description
From AxBx:
PC Security Test is a free program for Windows that checks computer security against viruses, spyware and hackers. With a few mouse clicks, users can easily control the efficiency of their protection software (anti-virus programs, spyware scanners and firewalls). PC Security Test simulates virus, spyware and hacking attacks and monitors the responses of your protection software. Don't worry, no real viruses are involved. After the tests are complete, PC Securtiy computes a security index and provides tips on improving PC security. The software also includes a quiz that allows users to test their knowledge of computer security. A printable guide entitled "10 Tips for Securing Your Computer", written by computer security experts, is also provided with the program.

"Complete Garbage"
Version: PC Security Test 2007 7.2
Pros
Nothing. Scareware at it's best.
Cons
This program will tell you that your current antivirus is not securing you. Then if you download VirusKeeper 2009, you will find out that doesn't protect you any more than what you were probably using. What's the point, if it can't do better.
Summary
Don't use! I believe it is scareware! It doesn't help you to protect your computer, even after using there software they recommend. So, if the software they recommend you use still fails the tests it runs, where does that leave you? Keep your distance.

"I saw it as a good over-view of my security, NOT!!!"
Version: PC Security Test 2007 7.2
Pros
Nothing positive, it just downloads multiple trojans that sniff out your security protection in the process. It sent AVIRA and Comodo AntiVirus-Firewall into a frenzy trying to name all the TROJANS and MALWARE.
Cons
It immediately went to shut-down my Ad-Aware Internet and disabled my A-Squared. Thank goodness for Safe Mode. Malwarebytes and Advanced System Protector were useless in sniffing it out.
Summary
This is the best product to use if you want to DESTROY your computer. I was very fortunate to have anti-malware programs that i got to see work in DEEP SCAN mode over and over and over and over and over and over (i am now an official fan of scan radar's, yaaay round n round they go as i waste my time).

Cons

Summary

"ESET found it as a "Win32/Adware.Agent Application""
Version: PC Security Test 2007 7.2
Pros
Nothing at all.
Cons
ESET Smart Security 4 found it as a "Win32/Adware.Agent Application" and when I downloaded it, I haven't executed the file but the program ran by itself and tried to connect to my computer.
Summary
Bottom Line!
A really bad program! CNET do something about this! -
"Only good for security testing."
Version: PC Security Test 2007 7.2
Pros
PC Test 2007 will test the security of your firewall for hacker's, test your anti virus program, and test your spyware protection. And give you a score of your firewall, anti virus program, and spyware protection.
Cons
After the test has completed and you close this program they have an advertisement to purchase their anti virus program.
