At first glance, this is an easy-to-use, well-designed suite of utilities to optimize your system. A deeper look shows that the mixed bag of tools is simple and geared toward the novice. PC Optimizer Pro's multitab interface logically places all functions for easy access.
PC Optimizer Pro includes the functions common to the genre: Registry cleaner, privacy eraser, and start-up manager. Select all toggles are present, but column sorting is absent. Bereft of bells and whistles, the novice-friendly functions take just a few clicks to operate. Advanced users aren't given the option to scan specific folders. The utility adds an uninspired simple file shredder and a too-basic program uninstaller. PC Optimizer Pro doesn't support browsers other than the big two, IE and Firefox.
The privacy eraser and parts of the Registry cleaner are disabled in the demo, but it still includes enough functionality for a fair test. Advanced users will want more flexibility, but novice users looking for an all-in-one package should give this app a try.

Easy to use. The software is so easy to use that we do not need any guide or help. It works superb and without any confusions.

Hmmmm..........the only thing that I feel is that the GUI isn't flexible.

Very good software. Very easy to use and works pretty good. I was very happy to spend $29.95 to get this software. Different utilities in this software really help me in keeping my computer fit. Highly recommended.

If the trial version actually did something I could respond here.

Either the developers or C-Net mislead people into downloading a free version that does nothing more than scan your comp, find errors and then tell you to buy the full version for it to do anything.
Summary
The "free trial download" does not do anything except tell you that you need to buy the full version after you've wasted your time downloading and scanning your comp. I'm sure the rave reviews must be true so why mislead people if you have such a good product. I'm put off.

Trial says "some features disabled". What that really means is it doesn't do anything but take forever to scan your computer and then doesn't anything but sure will tell you you have to pay close to $30 in order for it to do anything. Wast of time.
Summary
CNET should clean up it's act and don't promote products as 'free' or 'trial' if it isn't 'free' and you can't 'try' it.

I installed it this evening. I had been having troublewith hang ups, screen dragging, all the crap we don't want our computers to do. I ran the scan and it cleared up nearly '500' errors. Yep,, 500. Now I'm all clear and everything is running top notch!! I love it. I click,, and BANG, RIGHT there. I'd recommend this to anyone.
