This otherwise dynamic, well-designed, flexible system cleaner suffers from small nagging bugs. Ozon's clean, colorful interface spreads the program functions and options over too many screens. Our testers also suffered from a bug that placed one screen partially over another with no method to remove the blocking dialog.

We found Ozon's functions to be generally easy to implement and quick. The Internet browser cleaner handled not only Internet Explorer and Firefox, but four less-popular browsers. Each was easily cleaned of history, cookies, and cache. However, typed URLs could only be cleaned from IE and the Avant browser. A separate window listed all cookies with the option to save selected entries, but there's no way to select all cookies. It can be a tedious process selecting which ones you want to save and which you want to delete. The Completed PC Cleaner option dialog is easily configured with quick clicks to select operating system, and popular program detritus. However, some testers found the Junk Files Cleaning option screen occasionally blocked the Completed Cleaner dialog. The only way to cure the problem was to close and restart the application.

A file-shredder function forces users to add files one at a time by selecting from a file tree rather than through drag-and-drop. The duplicate files finder is slow and buggy. Testers reported that the program sometimes froze when scanning large directories. Though this program suffers from some bugs, we found the major functions to be helpful. Intermediate to advanced users will find this tool easy to use and usually accurate.

  "Useless Program"

  Pros: Nothing

  Cons: Any program that irresponsibly includes cleaning the Prefetch folder should never be used or recommended because it demonstrates the author has absolutely not idea how the feature works. If he does not understand a feature so well documented what else does he not understand? Windows automatically cleans the prefetch folder at 128 entries back down to the 32 most used items. Cleaning the folder for any other reason is a waste of time and will cripple windows and all your applications load times. Google "XP Myths"

  Pros: easy to use .. new ideas

  Cons: need some improvment .. like yahoo masenger .. hotmail massenger cleaner
