Publisher's description of Orange Fun

From Swargo Studio:

Orange Fun features nice graphics and music. Your kids and you will definitely enjoy playing it. The maximum number of lines that can be completed simultaneously is four, since at least one block is required per line. In order to master the game, the technique of sliding a piece just before it sets is invaluable, as well as using both rotation buttons when available.

This Tetris-style game has a few nice things going for it, but its lack of user-customization options and a very annoying nag screen hold it down. In Orange Fun, the goal is the same as in Tetris: you arrange falling objects to form horizontal lines. It's nice the game deviates from the standard-issue block formations with other objects such as playing cards and dice. As in Tetris, it doesn't matter what color the items are, so long as the line is full. Similar to most puzzle games, this application lacks amazing graphics, but we appreciate the bright color scheme and the variety of background scenes. The well-produced, jazz-tinged soundtrack also is a plus. Unfortunately, Orange Fun doesn't offer a single feature to speak of. Worse still is the nag screen, which appears after a few minutes of gameplay and moves about the screen, often obscuring the puzzle and causing you to miss moves. Some folks might call this an additional challenge, but we see it as a cheap trick. Seasoned Tetris fans might test Orange Fun, but it's by no means best of breed.
