The premise of Opera has always been the same--develop the fastest, smallest, and most full-featured browser available--and the latest version maintains the tradition. Opera has all the basics covered, including tabbed browsing with an added functionality that lets you hover over a tab to preview a page; a search bar with Google and several other popular portals; advanced bookmarking tools, including one that lets you easily import from any popular browser; and simple integration with your favorite e-mail and chat clients. Mouse-gesture support, keyboard shortcuts, and drag-and-drop functionality further enhance your surfing experience.
With solid basics, Opera's extra features push it to the top of the class. Integrated theme support lets you preview and download themes from within the interface so you know what you're getting before you download. Widgets (akin to Mac OS X dashboard applications) are small, useful programs that appear in a window from any app while Opera is running. The Wand utility helps you autofill online forms and lets you securely save passwords for multiple sites. We really like the addition of BitTorrent support, letting you drop a Torrent link into the address bar and begin a file transfer immediately without the need for an extra app. New in version 9.1, added fraud protection provides another layer of security by identifying fake sites in realtime--a welcome addition for safer browsing. Overall, we think Opera might have what it takes to unseat even the biggest-name browsers if users give it the opportunity. Opera is a must-download for those looking for a full-featured browser with added extras.

Version: Opera 9.1
Pros: 1)The wand can be used for auto-fill and sign-ins on ALL websites, without the exceptions the other browsers have. 2)The widgets are self-installing with new ones almost daily. There is even a widget that will help you create your own. 3)Very configurable to take advantage of your needs or screen-space. 4)Mouse gestures are very easy to use and hard to part with. 5)A very intuitive browser that meets all needs. Because of a "bug", I started using IE and FF more, but 9.1 fixed that memory-bug. Now IE is parked except for one Tuesday a month and FF is gone, awaiting a trial of version 3 sometime next year, maybe. Out-of-the-box Opera is the easiest and fastest browser, PERIOD!

"Best Browser, Highly Recommended"
Pros: Opera beats Interney explorer 7 and Firefox fox 2 at everything.Interface is very good, tabs open quicker than other browsers.It's really fast, webpages open in seconds.Very very secure and hardly has any exploits and the phising filter which works better than Internet explorer7.Many search engines to choose from and lots of cool features.
Cons: Dosen't work on some websites and can be a little buggy sometimes.

"Opera ... almost a piece of art !"
Pros: First let's take a quick look on Opera features :
- Tab Browsing
- Download Manager
- Add-on Support
- Content Blocking
- RSS Feed Reader
- Bittorrent Client
- Notes
To really illustrate how Opera stacks up versus the other browsers let's ran it through a couple of tests.
TEST Acid2 (you can find this test on webstandards org website). Acid2 is a test page, written to help browser vendors ensure proper support for web standards in their products.
- Opera success !
- FireFox didn�t completely fail the test, but they didn�t completely succeed.
- Internet Explorer 7 � Failed miserably.
TEST Page Rendering Times. For this test I have created a large page containing a table with 2000 rows and some css mixed classes. The results are bellow :
- FireFox 2 time 4.23
- Opera 9.1 time 5.01
- Internet Explorer 7 time 8.12
Opera came in second place right after Firefox.
To give you an idea of the popularity of Opera, according to my web stats, of 6,569 visitors, only 3.15% use Opera. Compare that to the 41.80 % for FireFox and the 53,05% for Internet Explorer. Opera seems to be used by a little comunity of people. I don't understand why since on features beats Internet Explorer.
But, the real piece of art in Opera 9 is their e-mail client. You must test for yourself to see what I am talking about ...
I really enjoy Opera as a browser and definitely recommend it!

"Better than IE. Anything is."
Pros: Very good pop-up blocker. Test your browser in irpinball.ztnet.com. Do some actions, and see what happens.
Cons: Loading pictures and flash is sooo slow. Firefox 1.5.0.11 with Firetune beats this 6-0.

"Best Altertnate to Microsoft IE (Must Have it)"
Pros: I am using Opera since version 7, its improving constantly. I prefer it over FireFox because of its unique features which none of the others have. Some of its cool features are:
Outstanding History browing.
Saves last session Automatically.
Still resumes last session on crash.
Can save mutiple sessions.
Build-in Search Control (Google, Amazone, Torrents, Ebay, Download.com and more).
Tabbed Browsing.
Mouse justures.
Can Disable Anoying javascript.
Clean Cool Interface (Supports Skins).
lite weight.
just love it.
Magic Wand (Autometically fills all kinda forms)
Cons: Does't work fine on sites with heavy scripting (1 out 100s), still love it.
