From Opera Software :Note: This beta version is meant only as a preview of the upcoming Opera 9. The latest fully supported version of the browser is Opera 8.54.
Opera is a free Web browser with a pop-up blocker, multiple-window navigation, mouse gestures, keyboard shortcuts, an e-mail client with a spam filter, and integrated search for user security and speed. The cross-platform browser includes IRC-compatible chat, support for RSS newsfeeds, a password manager, and one-click customization and privacy-protection settings.
Among the many new features in Opera 9 are widgets, which are small Web applications (multimedia, newsfeeds, games and more) that make your desktop experience more fun. BitTorrent is now integrated into the browser, eliminating the need for a separate client. Content can be blocked by user preference, and search engines can likewise be customized. Hovering over tabs provides a thumbnail preview for easier navigation. Site-specific preferences allow you to apply different rules for individual sites.

Version: Opera 9 beta 1
"You can call it beta, but I call it PERFECT!"
Pros: If this is just a beta, I can't wait for the final edition of Opera 9. I can find no bugs in this beta version, only improvements. I downloaded the beta version in a seperate installation so I could test them against each other. The beta version is a little larger because it comes with the added features of widgets, thumbnail previews, BitTorrent, etc. But most impressive is the added speed. No need to wait for the final version, try the beta today! Again, 5 HUGE stars and two thumbs up!

"Awesome browser, much better than counterparts if youre willing to learn it"
Pros: Its free.
It does everything IE does and more.
Has a built in form filler which is lightyears better than IE's built in, Google Toolbar's, and even RoboForm!
Comes with built in BitTorrent downloading technology, tab previews, widgets and a host of other features you wont find in other browsers.
Comes with built in ad filter, like FireFox's AdBlock extension.
Handles web standards better than IE and FF, combined.
Loads webpages much faster than IE and FF, combined.
The toolbars are highly customizable, much more so than IE and FF, combined.
Program is highly skinnable.
Version 9.0 comes as weekly builds, available from the Opera homepage...so this version is already out of date :).
Cons: Its a memory hog. You dont really notice it, but its a hog, and is the reason why pages load so fast (it stores the pages in memory as far as I can see).
Outside of pages built for FF/Opera, the web was built for IE, and all pages will work fine in IE, but being built for IE means they might not work in FF/Opera, and you will find a good number of them.
BitTorrent downloading is not as good as Azureus or uTorrent, there is no DHT here.
Widgets are stupid...its a web browser for crying out loud. If I want widgets I'll go get Yahoo! Widget Engine.

I love the browser, but I got tired of a lot of my main pages I visit being redered improperly by a little bit so I went back to IE. But I suggest you all give Opera a run.

Pros: It still one of the best, and im still using this. Big improved. I like it it's FREE! Smooth and wont stuck while loading. Cool, grab it today! ;)
p/s: pages loading faster and better.
Cons: So far so good.
