The premise of Opera has always been the same: Develop the fastest, smallest, and most full-featured browser available. Opera maintains the tradition with its latest version. Offering unprecedented speed and low memory usage, Opera is still embarrassing the big browsers by loading most Web pages in a fraction of the time they use.
In addition to fine-tuning speed and performance, the browser includes support for bidirectional languages such as Arabic and Hebrew, a slide-show feature for Web-based photos, and an option that allows users of the free, ad-sponsored version to receive either text-based ads served by Google or generic graphical ads. Other features sweeten the deal, such as spatial navigation, a built-in e-mail client with spam parameters, and IRC chat support. As always, Opera continues to offer good-quality encryption and other security measures.
Although Opera's default interface wastes space with redundant tools that visually overpower the browser window, it is wholly customizable. Skins let you change the browser's look to suit your preferences. Anyone looking at alternate browsers should check out Opera, the leader of the pack.
Publisher's description
From Opera Software :Opera is an Internet browser with a pop-up blocker, multiple-window navigation, mouse gestures, keyboard shortcuts, an e-mail client with a spam filter, and integrated search for user security and speed. The cross-platform browser includes a multitude of other functions, such as IRC-compatible chat, support for RSS newsfeeds, a password manager, and one-click customization and privacy-protection settings. Mouse gestures and keyboard shortcuts allow for accelerated Web navigation while the Fast Forward and Rewind buttons ease browsing. Users can run multiple windows as well as personalize the user interface with one-click skins. The browser also contains special elements for users with disabilities, drag-and-drop support, a notes function, user profiles, and a host of other features. Opera supports the latest in security and provides password and cookie managers.
Opera 8.02 includes security upgrades and smaller bug fixes.

Version: Opera 8.02
"The best internet browser around!"
Pros: The browser is very customizable and functional. It's very feature-rich, and it is more of a complete suite. The registered version is in the reasonable price range, and the promo for Opera's 10th anniversary (which is free registration code for everyone in just 1 day) is very generous. The Opera community is a very helpful resource for all your Opera needs. It also has a very intuitive interface and is also fully skinnable. The browsing speed is extremely fast, and I find it better than Firefox (I rank Firefox second to Opera). The program is completely malware free. Anyway just get the registered version to support the excellent devs for this app.
Cons: The mail client needs more features, but it will do. The ad banner is a con, but it won't affect your surfing, and the ad banners are NOT adware. Adware is dangerous for your computer while ad banners are not.

Version: Opera 8.02
Pros: The new version of Opera provides greater protection from phishing and other internet scams.
Still the same quick, skinnable and secure browser that it has always been. Internet Explorer users will be amazed by Opera's fast page loading speed (500ms compared to IE's 6000ms).
Use anything other than Internet Explorer! Opera is outstanding.
Cons: None.
DOWNLOAD IT!

"I like Opera and Firefox the best."
Pros: The other browsers look like IE ripoffs. Opera has themes just like Firefox and that little google ad isn't going to kill anybody. It is also more secure than Firefox.
Cons: What's the point in paying for Opera? You remove the ad and you get mail plus suppport. I don't need mail plus support. What about extra features in the browser it self? I don't think I'll ever consider buying it unless they have more than two unneccessary things and ad removal.

Version: Opera 8.02
"Advetisement......Why......?"
Pros: Great browser, Fast, and its about equvilatn to firefox. A very good browser if you buy it.
Cons: I am not trying to be mean, but I hate the fact that it advetises. This browser would be near perfect if it did not advertise. Not even Internet Explorer advertises. So in order to stop advertisment, you have to buy it.
