Opera Mini 4 delivers a fast, impressively advanced user-friendly experience with this upgrade to its mobile phone browser. Keypad hot keys speed up zooming and scrolling. The browser comes with a familiar mouse. You can create your own search shortcuts, synchronize your bookmarks with your other Opera browsers, and alternate between rendering views.
There's also a landscape mode activated by pressing the "#" and "*" keys, just not for BlackBerry phones or a few others. Other limitations exist, as well, most notably that Opera Mini isn't compatible with every carrier and model, so you'd best check the specs first.

Users can surf any Web site such as Google, Yahoo, Amazon, eBay, and Hotmail on their Palm just like they would on a normal computer. Instead of requiring the phone to process Web pages, it uses a remote server to pre-process the page before sending it to the device.

Version: Opera Mini (Palm) 2.0.4509
Pros: Free! Nice layout. Fairly intuitive. Solid 4 stars, gave it 5 in case the occasional error is me. See below. I imagine it will work quite well on the E2 and other newer models.
Cons: Its probably me, I installed WebSphere Micro Environment Java VM from Palm and m-router 3.1 from Intuwave on Tungstan E to connect through usb2. Came here looking for a free browser to download, it works, after a few attempts, but locks up with error msg on occasion. Not bad though for a device that is not getting much support from Palm anymore. I haven't yet read the "rtfm ;P " manual, so I gave it an extra star as I am hopeful I will find a setting to tweak!

"Unable to run - error message"
Pros: none
Cons: After loading it on my T|X, I get the following error message when trying to run it:
Missing IBM Java VM
Please ensure that IBM's WebSphere Micro Environment Java VM is installed.
