The keyboard plays an integral role in surfing, which can make moving around the Web easy and fast. You can run multiple windows, even at start-up, and special features are included for users with disabilities. Opera supports CSS, Java (through the Sun Java plug-in), JavaScript SSL (128-bit), TLS (Transaction Layer Security), and more. If you already have the Sun Java plug-in installed on your system you can get the non-Java version here.
The latest beta release includes a faster rendering engine and a smaller overall file size, plus an enhanced user interface. Additional features include the M2 e-mail client, a floating hotlist, enhanced drag-and-drop functionality, user profiles, and more.
Note: This is a beta release which may contain bugs that could cause your system to crash. Download.com recommends backing up all important files on your system prior to installation of any beta version software.
