OpenBase SQL for Mac

What's new in this version: The latest release of OpenBase SQL comes with new auto-failover features that further enhance its database mirroring/clustering capability. With OpenBase SQL 8.0.2, mirrored databases automatically and seamlessly transfer clients between servers during maintenance tasks to ensure immediate availability of data. OpenBase clients are also diverted during login, guaranteeing immediate access, even when the specified server is not completely started.

  I have nothing positive to say about this company

  The vendor repeatedly 'mis-spoke' and exaggerates about the service he provides, the system configuration he supports and the capacity of his product.

  Similar to other reviewers, I have never lost data that is stored in OpenBase. I've been using OpenBase for over 5 years, I currently have OpenBase 10 installed in 7 mission-critical commercial systems. I'm thrilled to see the v11 improvements, particularly the speed bumps and the incremental backup.

  Have built and successfully deployed a large multi-location app with RealBasic and OpenBase over the past three years and think the world of OB. The admin interface in 8 is the best i've seen, the plugin/API support exceptional, and the new performance numbers for 8.0.4 are both impressive and real. Not expensive for what you get, which is a fast, solid, highly recommended SQL db with way-beyond-expectations support in our experience.
