Version: Online Armor Personal Firewall 3.5.0.14
Pros: Easy to setup, works as anti-spyware as well
Cons: Works as anti-spyware, and will prevent some games from running, especially those which use Game Guard, or other anti-cheat technology. Not easy to configure advanced controls.
Summary: Very easy to setup, noobs might consider this.
Attempted to run this and the Aion beta, which utilizes GameGuard. Was unable to login the game due to protections.
Was unable to find a way to open specific ports for torrents/... read more >> -

Version: Online Armor Personal Firewall 3.5.0.14
Pros: Works great on my XP relics.
Cons: Online Armor Personal Firewall 3 allowed itself to install on WIN 2000. Upon reboot, my os is now fried, even as admin, system won't allow me to do much of anything to fix the problem by removal of this firewall or even delete the dang directory.
Summary: This software should automatically not allow itself to install on relic o/s. My bad for not looking at the o/s requirements before installing. I've been computing for 20 years now, always a first time for everything.

Version: Online Armor Personal Firewall 3.5.0.14
"One of the Best Firewalls I've Used and re-used"
Pros: Excellent secure front/back end it has in protecting the entry points. It also, protects your computer not only from the external world but also from the buggy software that may end up on your computer.
Cons: It is powerful one and one that needs some understanding by the user.
If you don't know what you're doing it can like any other Firewalls stop you from doing some of the admin work.Summary: Firstly the product is of age and worth just testing it.
I've purchased a licence in the past and that has run out and now thinking of installing it in my test machine running Windows7. It has been working on XP pro without a hitch.

"My favorite personal firewall"
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: still not simple enough for non technical users
Summary: I've used about half a dozen different sofware firewalls and this is my current favorite.

Version: Online Armor Personal Firewall 3.5.0.14
"finally, a replacement for zonealarm"
Pros: I've tried several free software firewalls and zonealarm I always found myself coming back to. The firewall has become more bloated and less stable, 7.0.337.x was the last version I had been using, I've read negative things about ZA 8.x and higher.
Cons: Sometimes the firewall status window won't show any active connections or anything. unline ZA, I'd like to specify more in options, like entire subnets. I know this is the free version but a little more custumability (not a word?! :) would be nice.
Summary: Look out ZoneAlarm, Online Armor is very impressive, after trying it for some time, I've decided to make it my ZA replacement. Takes less resources and fairly easy to use, ARP protection available as well. The firewall status window is nice too.
