This program claims to scan and rid your computer of potential privacy risks, but a trial limitation makes it impossible to see if it can deliver on its promises.
One Click Privacy's interface is well-organized, with icons to clean nearly every area of your computer. During testing, the program scanned our computer and came back with results very quickly. However, a trial limitation prevented us from actually removing any unwanted files without registering first, so it's hard to say if the program actually works. The trial limitation on the shred feature allows only a maximum of nine files to be shredded. With a simple click of the mouse, the files were shredded and removed from our hard drive. The report feature listed the results of our scan, and if we had the option of cleaning the files, it would have theoretically displayed that too.
What we could test of this program was impressive, but we'd have to have actual proof that the program can get rid of files before giving One Click Privacy a full recommendation.
