This standout audio converter gives priority to a streamlined interface, though you'll certainly find a few handy features. As you can guess from the name, One-Click Audio Converter places its commands directly in the Windows right-click context menu, requiring minimal interaction. You can, for instance, right-click on your hard drive to have the utility find and convert all music files. We can say nothing bad about the conversion speed or the sound quality. The format options are just enough for novices: High, Medium, and Low quality. At most, you can set your own bit rate. The feature that limits the CPU usage didn't work well in our tests, though, and the simple program has an outsized installation file of nearly 7MB. We did like the features that allow you to sort files by album or artist, and we think the automatic shutdown feature will prove convenient to folks converting a large batch of files at once. Minor quibbles aside, novices and time-pressed experts alike ought to enjoy One-Click Audio Converter.
