This full-fledged offline browser not only copies individual Web pages and online photo albums, it also downloads and lets you view entire sites offline. Its customizable interface lets you easily cope with numerous downloads. With the built-in browser, you can view retrieved sites or search for new targets directly from the program. Offline Explorer Pro provides everything for easy downloading: proxy-server support; connection control (a number of simultaneous connections, bandwidth limitations); an internal dial-up that disconnects when finished or resumes broken connections; scheduling; and smart Web-browser integration.
Various filters cut unnecessary content, letting you skip or include file types, sizes, URLs, servers, domains, and directories. You also can retrieve only updated files, disable downloading or directories from a convenient site map, or simply drag missing pages from your browser. Offline Explorer Pro has most of the features we expect from a perfect offline browser, especially for dial-up users.
Publisher's description
From MetaProducts :Offline Explorer Pro (OEP) allows you to download an unlimited number of your favorite Web, FTP, HTTPS, RTSP and MMS sites simultaneously for later offline viewing, editing or browsing. Offline Explorer Pro stands out from all other offline browsers by supporting the maximum number of modern Internet technologies. It extracts links and converts them for seamless offline browsing from Java/VB scripts, Java applets, Cascading Style Sheets (.CSS,) Macromedia Flash (.SFW,) XML/XSL/DTD, Table Of Contents (.TOC,) MPEG 3 Play List (.M3U,) Authorware (.AAM,) Acrobat (.PDF,) RealMedia (.SMIL, .RAM, .RPM,) VRML (.WRL, .WRZ) and MS NetShow Channel .NSC) files. It is the first and only offline browser capable of downloading MS Media Player (MMS) and Real Player (RTSP) media streams and saving them to your hard disk. Not only can you view these files when it is most convenient for you, but you can also download them with the highest quality even via your modem connection. Offline Explorer Pro has the most flexible Projects management system with automation capabilities that go far beyond download scheduling - you can use Project sequencer, URL Macros to download changing URLs, automatically export, post process Web sites and more. You can even prepare Web sites for CD burning (with CD Autostart support.) Offline Explorer Pro internal browser provides easy offline browsing and also enables you to submit and download virtually any HTML form results as a Project. Version 2.6 features nice user interface changes, better FTP and RTSP downloads, improved Projects file load/save speed and other enhancements and bug fixes.
