Version: OSL2000 Boot Manager - Platinum Edition 9.09
Pros: This is 2d time I've installed OSL2000 -- first time the default Microsoft boot mgr blew it out after default WIN98SE/WINXP dual boot.. This time I began w/ WINXP and OSL2000 was necessary. I followed easy install instructions and rebooted to the boot manager screen and both orig XP on hdd0 and WIN98SE on hdd1 (I took the drive out of an older, working machine) were in the boot menu and both boot normal. Reliable and easy.
Cons: After install I hoped to find both XP on hard drive 1 and WIN98SE on hard drive 2 but could only see WINXP on 1st hdd (end of data ribbon) .. the 2d hdd was listed but w/o a file system. Not until I hit F3 (options) on the boot manager screen and checked UNHIDE ALL PARTITIONS did I see WIN98SE in the first partition of 2d hdd with a small unallocated space before it (the area on the 2d drive OSL2000 referred to as 2d hdd with 'No File System'). After unhiding all partitions I could boot into WIN98SE on the 2d hdd as easily as booting into WINXP on the 1st hdd. Looking thru the documentation for OSL2000 I found that the author of the SW decided NOT to default to unhide all partitions because seeing all partitions causes some confusion for newbies who try to boot into unbootable LINUX partitions. I think UNHIDE ALL PARTITIONS should be the default, however.

Version: OSL2000 Boot Manager - Platinum Edition 9.09
"DOWNLOAD AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!"
Pros: My computer isn't entirely screwed; it's only partially malfunctioning.
Cons: It won't let me install Vista!!! I can't get rid of!!! It's a waste of time and money (money only counts if you have to call Geek Squad or related companies)
