Publisher's description
From SLICK Software :ODBCView is a free SQL query tool to view and export data from any OBDC compliant database. Connect to an ODBC data source and enter a SQL statement to execute. The data is then displayed on a read-only grid or it can be exported to a external CSV or HTML report file. Any valid SQL statements can be executed including UPDATE, DELETE and calls to database procedures. Run it from the command line to open a data source and export a query to a file.

This software version | All versions -
Version: ODBCView 3.1.0
Pros: Quick install and got going right away using ODBC connections
Cons: Almost no added features. If you just want to SELECT INSERT UPDATE DELETE then this is for you. Otherwise you will need to go with something else and probably pay for it.

Version: ODBCView 3.1.0
Pros: It's Free.
Cons: First the application lacks a useful help system. After struggling with this program for weeks. I found a serious bug. It distorts the data when the record contains special characters. I notified the company of the bug and then tried their $300 product, which fortunately doesn't contain the same bug, but unfortunately doesn't offer the features of the free version. What a waste! ODBCView's interface is rough at best. I'd pass on this version and hope the software developers read this review and fix this mess.

Version: ODBCView 3.1.0
Pros: This is a very nice simple SQL query tool. The best part is you can script it at the command line so I can make batch files to call it, run a query, and dump the results to a CSV file. VERY COOL.

Version: ODBCView 3.1.0
Summary: Good alternative to WinSQL. Works with DB2 UDB. Doesn't allow you to comment out SQL lines with "--". Can't copy result into clipboard (but query can be copied/pasted).
