This fragmentation is the main reason for serious performance losses when you're running Windows. Defragmenting with O&O Defrag V6 rejoins the separate file fragments together and can also reorganize your files if you wish. In this way, files can be read and written much faster. Version: O&O Defrag Professional Edition 6.0.71
Pros: Defrags twice as effective as the built in Windows defrager. It even compressed the unmoveable files on my pc. It took a little long to defrag the first time,about 15 minutes, but now I run
it every morning when windows starts, and it only takes about 1 minute. It sped up my computor by about 25%, I feel.
