From Reasonable Software House :You may not realize how many duplicate files you have after downloaded many files from the Internet or duplicate files scattered over your home or corporate network. Duplicate files are usually redundant and unnecessary, so keeping them is merely a waste of valuable hard disk space. Your hard drives may be full of documents, mp3, photos and video and many of them are redundant. NoClone finds and removes true duplicate files by true byte-to-byte comparison, not by CRC. It searches duplicate file contents regardless of filename. Duplicate music (MP3, WMA), photos (JPEG, GIF), documents and any file type can be searched. With Smart Marker, files are selected for deletion. A search session can be saved. Duplicate files can be deleted, moved, or copied. You can clean up your hard drive and manage files better. Home edition can search on up to 3 network destinations and up to 300,000 files.

Version: NoClone 2007 Home Edition 4.1.20
Cons: Wasn't able to install this application. Although the initial download was only 1.58 MB, I was subsequently required to download MDAC 2.8( at 5.8 MB). OK, fool me once. But after MDAC was loaded, I was told I needed .NET Framework
( at 23 MB ). No Way!
A program that checks for duplicate files should NOT take 30 MB of code!

Version: NoClone 2007 Home Edition 4.1.20
"once solid product now full of bugs"
Cons: early versions were non-intuitive, but bullet proof. The "enhancements" appear to add SW that both "encourage purchase" and are full of bugs, with lots of "script errors" This is a scary product. ...and the user interface got worse!
