In many aspects resembling a horror version of the worldwide hit game Fruit Ninja, this app has all the required graphics and music it needs to become really addictive. The gameplay of Nightmarium is also good, though not really original.
The interface of Nightmarium offers familiar options: a start button, a settings button, and other buttons that have to do with promotion and advertisement. In the game itself, you are required to protect a sleeping girl from demons, ghosts, and other evil entities. Banish these evil spirits using the slicing power of your finger. Beat enough of these creatures and you're clear for the next level. The premise of the game is good, the visuals are also nice, and its gameplay isn't bad, either. However, it suffers from a really severe case of repetition. For the moment, there are only three stage variations. The patterns of the ghosts and demons change very little; it feels like you're not really progressing at any level, just repeating the same stage over and over again with only minor variations in the background visuals.
Despite this, we believe that Nightmarium has the potential to become a highly successful game. But for the moment, it's only good for a few rounds before getting uninstalled in favor of more comprehensive games.

Nightmarium is an adventures and scary game to save a girl's sleep. In a darkened room a rustling can be heard from under the bed, a creaking of floorboards from all around, and shadows wisp about behind the windows. Terrible things, born of dreadful nightmares, are coming closer and closer. If the girl closes her eyes or falls asleep they will find her. Only you can help the defenseless sleeping girl escape from this nightmare. You will come face to face with bloodcurdling creatures and fight through frightening places created by a mysterious and devious imagination. Get the little one safely through the darkness and dread destroying the monsters who seek to consume her while she sleeps. Artifacts, weapons, and tools are all around but you must be keen and clever to know what is useful as you battle the horrible beasts. Team up with your friends, share achievements and mysteries that will be revealed to you in the darkest alleys of dreams. It include 6 insane and dreadful places including a bonus location, 10 frightening monsters that could only have come from a nightmare, special artifacts to you help battle these beasts, and 20 different achievements 7 of which are hidden.
