I like the wooden wheel and the star fields. I use the Foxscape them on Firefox to get a similar look.

Netscape was my 1st ISP and , therefore, Navigator was my 1st browser. Was best then(better even than parent AOL at the time). Still stable, fast enough, functional. My #2 , barely. Closest to FF without being FF
Cons
No support from AOL(good riddance) but todays safety programs should protect any users.

too bad that aol decided to pull the plug on navigator..i just hope they revive it with the next mozilla version.

FAST. STABLE. Full of features. Easily a match for any other browser. Only Safari or K-Meleon might match it's speed. Opera 9.60 as well. Firefox 3 with Firetune too, now that I think of it.
Cons
AOL needs to go back to gradeschool for stopping support for Netscape! ARE THEY CRAZY or just business-impaired?! Where's Ted when you need 'em?!
Summary
AOL stopping support for this is a TRAGEDY that shows BAD judgment on their part(s). This browser looks like a combination of Internet Explorer and Firefox(or K-Meleon). This browser is so quick and functional that I guarantee that if you try it, you will prefer it above all others. Give it a shot!

This not a re-skinned Firefox. Navigator has a built in Restart so you don't need an add-on to get this capablity. Also the Link Pad feature is very useful. With FF you can't get this even with an add-on. Even though there are no more updates, it launches fast (much faster than FF), is stable, and is still my default browser.

That AOL pulled the plug on it.
