Netscape Communicator 4.02 is the latest Internet software suite from Netscape. Version 4.02 includes the final release version of Netcaster, Netscape's "push" client. This version also fixes the Singapore privacy bug--a bug that has allowed hackers to exploit LiveConnect in order to view a user's personal information. In addition to the Netscape Navigator browser, Communicator includes Messenger and Collabra, which provide new email and Usenet capabilities, and Composer, which offers HTML design and editing functions. This base install does not include Netscape Conference or additional multimedia plug-ins.
