Netscape Communicator 4.01a is the latest shipping release of Netscape's latest Internet software suite, incorporating new bug fixes to ensure safe Internet activity. In addition to version 4.0 of Netscape Navigator, Communicator includes Messenger and Collabra, which provide new email and Usenet capabilities, and Composer, which offers HTML design and editing functions. This base install does not include Netscape Conference or additional multimedia plug-ins. Version 4.01a is a minor maintenance update.
