A proxy that fails is what you'll get if you install this application. Netgate's interface is primarily a dialog box to remind you to register. The publisher gives you free credits to register, and we would have done so if possible. Our testers found that registration was impossible as the publisher's server was missing. Rather that directing users to a URL, the registration link attempts to open a specific IP address. That's not a good sign.
Installing this program is the first indicator you're in for trouble. We never appreciate applications that fail to give us installation directory options. The program also fails to list where files are installed. The proxy settings fail to work for Internet Explorer or Firefox. The uninstall link simply fails. We were forced to find Netgate's install directory and clean it out manually.
It really doesn't matter how much PC experience you have, you'll get nothing of value out of this flawed application. There are too many good proxy servers available to waste time with Netgate.

My antivirus software did not allow it to install.
Cons
Never got a chance to try it. My antivirus software (Avast!) immediately detected a virus was trying to install when I was downloading Netgate 1. Whether it's a false positive or not, I'm not going to take that chance.

Nothing. Seems like the Company stands to gain new clients to telemarket while the user remains unaware.
Cons
The contact help name for the client provides you with a free yahoo email client. Nothing about this software appears trustworthy.
