"Safety Net is exactly what it is... Keeping you Safe on the Internet."
Pros: I use this firewall in tandem with Sygate Personal Firewall, which is my firewall of choice... This one has a feature that Sygate doesn't... It allows you to configure applications without having to run them and answer the questions as you go... This firewall passed all the tests of security that Sygate also does, so It's a goer. Security is all that matters, and this passed ALL the tests.
Cons: System tray icon just sits there, whereas Zone Alarm and Sygate let you know of activity in and out... Suggestion : Use Sygate in tandem with this... Sygate is first line of defense and this acts, as it's name suggests, as a safety net.

Cons: this program is awful, slow computer, program is VERY unstable, crashed computer numerous times, have to configuration yourself. Beware, don't waste your time with this program

"The best freeware firewall going - just be patient and use care when configuring"
Pros: It really works! For regular folks it's a great tool, and others can spend their money on "the Best" (?) Only a few main settings need to be set at first - it prompts for access as you surf. Well-designed and it actually increased my computer's performance! Works well with SpyGuard and AntiVir9x too.
Cons: For beginners not familiar with firewalls, myself included, the power of this program can be intimidating. Read the instructions carefully and leave the default settings alone until understood. Compared to Outpost, this firewall is user-friendly and obedient.
