Though it does what it's supposed to, NetAdjust Cleaner doesn't measure up to many products in its class. Like most online-privacy tools, the program clears away your Web-surfing tracks from Internet Explorer and Mozilla, though it lacks support for Opera. The utility also cleans up user history from a few areas of the Windows system, such as the Run menu and the Recycle Bin. On the downside, it can't clean up from any third-party application and fails to include a secure file shredder or a scheduler. Also, it's quite a hassle that NetAdjust Cleaner forces you to shut down or reboot your PC after every cleaning session; most similar applications don't make you jump through this needless hoop. To top it all off, the five-day trial period is far less than ideal, especially considering the application's narrow scope. Beginners who don't know how to manually clean up their surfing tracks might find this utility useful, but just about everyone else can find something more powerful and more convenient.
