Publisher's description
From Advanced Network Technologies :Back up just about any data, including photographs, music, documents and email as well as system files, programs, and the registry. By operating in the system idle time, running incremental backups and being able to access locked files ReStor is able to back up whilst the computer is in use without noticeably slowing it down. Data backups can be stored both locally and remotely in synchronized repositories e.g. the local disk and a network share or removable device. Backed up data is compressed, encrypted and uses block level Single Instance Storage reducing the amount of storage required and its growth rate. A built in scheduler conveniently automates repeat backups. Backups can be browsed with an explorer style interface and individual files and folders can be restored as well as the entire backup. Multiple restore points allow you to roll back to any earlier version of a folder or file.

Pros: nice and easy to use interface, good price, ok support.
Cons: did not function as promised. haven't restored registry, program files, system files as promised. system has crached, boot file has corrupted. ReStor is simply not restoring anything at all.

"Quick and efficent backup utility with loads of features"
Pros: The dual backup locations are great - even if my hard drive dies I won't loose my data.
It is also super efficient at storing my backups in the tiniest space.
I like the backup browser too and all the backup set search facilities.
The scheduler lets me "set and forget" my backups, so I don't have to keep remembering to manually run my backups.
Cool application.
Cons: Don't like that the program shuts down instead of returning to the system tray when I close the control app. I'm sure that can be fixed in future releases though.

"Very good - system and data backup made quick and easy"
Pros: This saves me so much time - used to take for ever to drag and drop files to CD burner - if I remembered. The very first Full System backup took 32 mins for over 5 gig - now taking 3-4 mins on average; my Data files are taking 30 seconds; and all backups are scheduled so happen without any action from me.
Cons: Set-up not as intuitive as it could be - needs some work.

"Very nice backup product works really well"
Pros: Wanted a backup utility which backs up on a schedule to a second hard disk, this product does all this and more. Backing up 20 GB of data (MP3, photos and various data) every couple of hours without a hitch. Incremental backups on a schedule work well and run without slowing the system down. Had to restore a file I accidentaly deleted, again worked well.

"Simple scheduled delta based backups - Great!"
Pros: It does the work I forget to do - daily .pst and digital photo backups. The best is I dont worry about disk space because it only backs-up the changes. Its been a huge help already! Thanks guys!
Cons: It would be nice to have ReStor links in Explorer.
