CNET Editors' review
All things considered, the free NeoPhoto makes a solid choice for arranging photo albums and creating basic Web pages. The handy interface lets you effortlessly browse between photo folders as well as create and manage numerous photo albums. The program scans disks for images, or you can just drag photos to an album. NeoPhoto creates each album in a separate folder and copies each photo into that folder so your original photos are never changed or deleted. Another useful feature of NeoPhoto is its ability to compile single-file album archives. Though this application is far from a dedicated image editor, you can rotate, resize, and remove red eyes, as well as apply about a dozen effects. The program also helps you quickly create an attractive Web gallery using a number of templates, though you won't find many tools for tweaking them. Nevertheless, we can recommend NeoPhoto to beginners and home users alike, particularly given its price.Publisher's Description

"after uninstalling, leftovers showing up on desktop, don't go away"
Version: NeoPhoto 2.0.1
Pros
nothing.
Cons
created few icons on the desktop, instead of one for the program.
very annoying - even after uninstalling the program, deleting these icons on the desktop doesn't help, the new ones keep poping up after every restart. Even CCleaner doesn't help.
Don't use it.

"Easy Photo Website Creation And Photo Management"
Version: NeoPhoto 1.6 build 220
Pros
This program installed cleanly and quickly on my Win98 SE box.
While it's great for creating and sharing digital photo albums and archives, what I really like about it is the ability to easily create instant photo websites, ready to go without any extra work.
This has allowed me to put up a bunch of pictures on my website that I hadn't bothered with before because of all the time and hassle involved with doing the HTML, resizing photos, editing files by hand, etc..
With this program you just drag and drop your pictures into it, add any comments you want for any of the photos (optional), and click the "create webpages" button to create the files. Then you can immediately upload them (via FTP or SFTP) from inside the program to your website.
No complaints--I've not run across any other program that makes it this quick and easy to build a photo website. Nice work guys!

"WhenU Spyware??! Don't want it."
Version: NeoPhoto 1.6 build 220
Pros
Didn't have a chance to use it. As soon as product downloaded, Spycather 3.5 popped up, warning me that "WhenU" spyware/addware had installed itself in my registry. However,my other antispywares didn't catch it(Spydoctor & Microsoft). I wonder if it really was WhenU or a false detection. After running Spycatcher to double check, it caught sftpdll.dll? which is different than what the registry monitor showed, or is it? It had to restart my computer in safe mode to completely remove it!?!@!!!. After a second reboot, which had me a little concerned, every thing worked normally except NeoPhoto. So I deleted it. As I deleted it, it warned me that by removing NeoPhoto could cause my computer not to run properly, but so far, it seems to be doing fine.
Cons
From what I've read, WhenU is not supposed to be spyware/addware anymore so why did it show up? Sorry, don't want it.

"Finally!"
Version: NeoPhoto 1.5
Summary
After buying a Canon Elph I amassed hundreds of pics, and needed something better than the stuff that comes with the camera to organize my pics AND easily send them to my friends. This is truly a great piece of software, and well worth the investment.
