From ABSoft :Neat Image is a digital filter designed to reduce visible noise and grain in digital photographic images. It is a tool for owners of digital cameras, and flatbed and slide scanners; and is for use by both professional photographers, and digital-image processing enthusiasts.
Neat Image reduces the high ISO noise associated with image sensors in digital cameras and scanners, the film grain visible in scanned slides and negatives, JPEG artifacts of over-compressed images, and color banding. Version 5.9 includes unspecified updates.
What's new in this version:
Version 5.9 includes added support for CorelDraw Graphics Suite X4 / Corel Photo-PainT X4, added support for Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2, improved stability of the plug-in in Paint Shop Pro 9 and higher, and other improvements.

"Works as advertised, great program."
Pros: Dramatically cleans up noise, especially in low-light shots. Saves some shots that you thought were worthless.
You can tailor for low noise, high sharpness or a combination.
Easy to use, although you need to dig into the user guide for best resultsCons: Wipes out the EXIF data, but the paying version preserves it.
Summary: If you want to make BIG prints from your favorite shots, this is what you want.
