Publisher's description

From SD EnterNet :

Navy Field is a massively multi-player online game based upon actual WWII naval battles. We have created graphically engineered models of actual WWII ships, weapons, aircraft, and munitions from Germany, the United States, U.K, and Japan to use in these battles. Players are asked to construct ships, add armament combinations, and position sailors to execute specific tasks. 95 different ships and 25 different types of sailors are available to play. In version 1.192, when starting a new account the default given crews abilities and the number of crew has been changed.

Note: This is a very large (397MB) file and may take several hours to download via slow Internet connection.

Version: Navy Field: Resurrection of the Steel Fleet 1.192

    "Awsome, Addicting Game"

    by Lumpi86 on December 12, 2007

Pros: Game has addicting gameplay, good community, and an excellent selection of ships to use from all nations. The ships are historically accurate and are well balanced when it comes to gameplay. NavyField does a great job of blending fast action and a level system which adds new weapons and ships as you level up.

Cons: Probably the biggest con is when you are at low levels you may not feel very useful to the fleet since you will constantly be pitted against ships bigger than you. The only other con i see is that unless you pay it takes an immense amount of time to collect points and credits.

    "Awesome game. A must try."

    by Caleb17 on December 12, 2007

Pros: Navy Field is an online massively multiplayer tactics game published by SDEnternet. I have found it to be very entertaining and have enjoyed my experience with it thus far.

Navy Field is set in the World War 2 era and you take command of a ship and fight out fleet battles. The game is awesomely addictive and a must try. The battles are quick and fun. Action is non stop. There are several ship classes to choose from including: Frigates, Destroyers, Battleships, Carriers, Light Cruisers, Heavy Cruisers, etc. Whether you enjoy launching huge tri barreled turrets or dive bombing enemy ships, Navy Field has something for you. Give it a try and I know you will be addicted.

"good game, slow download rate :("

    by swissbw2 on December 1, 2007

Pros: the gameplay is good, and the ships are more balanced out they they used to be, wich is good :), its fun to just chitchat and shoot some enemy ships :D

Cons: well, my navyfield sometimes crashes when i start it up, IF it happens, it happens when: i get the EULA; when i try to log in or when i logged in and the screen goes white to go to your harbor :p

another thing, also its not about the game, download.com has the slowest download i've ever seen :s even with flashget it took me 5 hours to download a 300mb file, while my connection is T1/LAN
