Instead of using satellite signals like GPS does, it is triangulating signals from WiFi and Cellular towers.It is based on a collaborative database and the position of WiFi and Cell towers are provided by the users themselves. If you have a GPS device, you can also use Navizon to contribute data points and earn money thanks to the Navizon rewards program.Navizon also includes cool features such as the Buddy Tracker, where you can see the whereabouts of your loved ones, the Directions Finder and Local search to look for places around you and how to get there and the Geotags to attach any comments you'd like on a specific location.Navizon is free.
