Publisher's Description
From The tijej house:
Navi iRae is a control panel that provides menus, when you command-click in a window's title region, that lets you navigate through the path of the file, just like in the Finder. Navi iRae just looks for an opened file with the same name as the window's one.
If it finds several opened files with the same name, it displays a menu with every file match in submenus.
Some applications, when opening a file, copy its content in a temporary file, and then close it (eg. Photoshop, Illustrator, Canvas, GraphicConverter). In version 1.1.x it made them impossible to see for Navi iRae. But not anymore! Now Navi iRae now looks for recently opened files to find them. Beware ! There's not complete guarantee this is the real file.
Beware, for best results you'll need an utility that keeps track of recently opened files. You have several choices supported by Navi iRae :- Apple Menu Options : no special setting required
- OtherMenu : no special setting required
- BeHierarchic 4.0 : be sure to check the option Apple Menu Option Compatible
For all of them, be sure that the option to keep track of files is checked in the control panel. For best results, increase the number of recent files. 20 should be plenty enough
What's new in this version:
- The submenus now use the same font as in the Finder views so non Roman languages should display correctly
- Aliases are displayed in italic in the menus
- Dropped support for Stuffit archives (nobody used it and it was only limited to the first level....)
