This simplistic program creates shortcuts to frequently used programs, but falls short in several areas. My Favorites' interface consists of 48 shortcut slots. Click one to browse for and assign an executable file to it.
The process is simple, but we sorely miss features found in similar applications. First of all, the program doesn't have the option to minimize to the system tray, so it's going to take up valuable taskbar space when it's open. Second, when you click a shortcut to a program it doesn't immediately open. Instead, you'll have to click Yes as a new window opens asking if you want to run the selected program. This seems an unnecessary step that detracts from the purpose of creating shortcuts.
Finally, we were disappointed that the program can't create shortcuts to any other type of file except executables. It may be simple to use, but with its limited functionality, we suggest users look at the host of other more effective programs to gain quick access to their favorite apps.
