My Macros easily converts your keyboard strokes and mouse clicks to macros, though experienced users may find it lacking. It's unfortunate that the intuitive and straightforward interface sports a design straight out of Windows 95. Nonetheless, generating macros takes no programming knowledge, as you merely set the program to record your actions. Users with patience can easily build or edit the recorded plain-text script files. The utility makes it easy to set hot keys for created macros. You can easily alter script properties, but there is no easy method to step through playback. My Macros caters to novice users with an informative help file and predefined functions for launching Web sites and programs or triggering other macros. Scheduling macros is possible, but the process isn't as flexible as with some similar programs. The 15-day trial is barely adequate to test this program. It won't wow advanced users, but My Macros is a decent first step in the category.
