My Diary Cover is a application for easily creating "skins" for the My Diary for the Palm OS® application. This utility will convert images of all sizes and many types into a Palm OS® compatible file.

This tool is a skin compiler and not a graphic editor. You will need a program to actually prepare your images for being used in skins.

There are three types of skins that you can create:

• A single cover skin that contains a Black and White (B&W), 16 shade gray-scale, and 256 color image. All of these images are in the "standard" size of 160 pixels wide by 160 pixels high (160x160). These are compatible with all Palm OS® 3.5 and up hand-helds.
• A high-density 256 color image that is compatible with Palm OS® 5.0 and up. This image is 320 pixels wide by 320 pixels high (320x320).
• A high-resolution 256 color image that is compatible with Sony hand-held devices. This image is also 320 pixels wide by 320 pixels high (320x320). The primary difference is how the Sony handles the graphics internally.
