This free toolbar is supposed to offer Firefox users fast access to 811.com's free texting site, but none of its buttons actually worked.
811 Toolbar for Firefox loaded easily, giving us quick link buttons to the 811.com site, a Help menu, even a Search bar. Strangely though, our attempt to visit the 811.com site via the toolbar was met with silence, so to speak; we weren't transported anywhere and we didn't hear so much as a sound when we clicked.
The toolbar's buttons to list numbers for sending text, video, audio, picture messages, and ringtones didn't work, either. Further, it didn't store any of the numbers we sent messages to.
Although the site's text messaging works, its toolbar is a dud. You'll do better just heading on over to the Web site the old-fashioned way.

Pros: i was using this before anyone knew about it and now they added video messaging which i luv it!

Pros: not a **** thing
Cons: This software may be spyware free on your computer, but when you send items from it to a cell phone, it sends crap that tears up your phone.
