MuvEnum address bar is the ultimate replacement for the missing address bar in Windows XP SP3. It recreates the experience of the original address bar with auto-completion while adding many new features, including Internet Explorer, Firefox 3.x, and Google Chrome support in addition to a system-wide hotkey, that allows you to quickly open Web pages, navigate to favorites, start programs, and search the Internet.

What's new in this version:

Added support for opening links with the .lnk in the name.

Fixed issue with http://shortcut.lnk showing in auto-completion list causing shortcut.lnk to not show.

Version: MuvEnum Address Bar 3.8

"Must Have for XP SP3"

Pros: Ideal for permanent taskbar useage.

Cons: **** none ****

Summary: I use website specific shortcut search aliases all the time ala Firefox keywords, so having an address bar makes this old Norton Commander command line junkie happy.

Version: MuvEnum Address Bar 3.8

"It works without problems"

Pros: I can go directly to a requested site

Cons: Dont have use of past entries

Summary: When MS, in their all knowing eye, decided not to use the address bar, I was quite disressed. I used it quite often and instructed my students to use it,, Then alas, it was no longer available.
