From AxBx :Multi Virus Cleaner is a stand-alone utility used to detect and remove major viruses. It is not a substitute for full anti-virus protection, but rather a tool to assist administrators and users when cleaning infected systems. Multi Virus Cleaner is regularly updated and can detect hundreds of common viruses, worms, trojans, and dialers (including all variants of the Sober, MyDoom, and Bagle viruses). The program offers a scanner that requires minimal processing power for repairing a compromised system.
Version 3.9 detects over 2000 variants of viruses.

"Will do a quick scan in 10 seconds."
Pros: Multi Virus Cleaner is not a replacement for your virus protection. It trys to find viruses and worms that your virus scan might have missed. The quick scan takes about 10 seconds, the full scan takes about 8 minutes,(more if you have 100,000+ files and folders, or less if you don't). At least I know it doesn't give false positives, because it found zero infections on my pc. But in all fairness I had just run a full virus scan prior to that with my Panda antivirus. It's free and it works, and it will not conflict with your regular virus protection. Give it a try, It's FREE! 5 stars and Two thumbs up!

Pros: fast scan
Cons: detects few virus as said. & doesnt allow u to select wat drive to scan, even though theres an option for it. an obvious bug..

"Good virus cleaner, but not a solution for full time virus detection."
Pros: This is a good STAND-ALONE virus cleaner. If you need to remove any viruses that you think has infiltrated your PC this will do just fine in a pinch to remove them. Fairly quick scans,(about 1000 files a minute)and gives you options for quick,full or custom scans of certain drives, documents etc.This is a capable program for removal of viruses,but you still need to have a real-time monitoring program like AVG,Avast,or Antivir,(the best of the free ones)to stop viruses BEFORE they become a problem for you and your PC.
Cons: This program is not a substitute for real-time Anti-Virus monitoring software.

Pros: 1. Does a good job of getting rid of viruses.
2. Can be compared to avast virus cleaner....I have both.
Cons: Limited virus database....but these are the most common bugs to hit any pc.
