From Mozilla :Firefox 3.1 beta 3 is a developer preview release of Mozilla's next generation Firefox browser and is being made available for testing purposes only. It is based on the new Gecko 1.9.1 Web rendering platform, an incremental release on the previous version with significant changes to improve web compatibility, performance, and ease of use.
Firefox 3.1 beta 3 improves support for TraceMonkey, Firefox's new JavaScript engine, native JSON support, and support for new Web coding developments.

Pros: ... running VistaHB_32. Superb for browsing in private mode.
Cons: Minor ... some add-ons not compatible.
Summary: Highly recommended.

"Looking like a worthy upgrade of Firefox 3.0"
Pros: Faster browsing, much faster. Better plug in support. Faster launch times. Slightly improved interface.
Cons: Still memory intensive. Being a beta, obviously doesn't feel finished. Some bugs, not often but it occasionally crashes.
Summary: Firefox 3.1 beta 3 is the best beta of 3.1 I've seen yet. Aside from some slimming down for memory usage and some stability issues, it's ready for release. It's faster launching than 3.0, and it seems snappier loading pages and the UI seems smoother... read more >>

"Still using too much system resources"
Pros: this is a great browser but...
Cons: since version 3.xx come up, the program sometimes use too much system resources, wich freeze the browser

"faster and worked with all my plug ins"
Pros: faster and worked with all my plug ins
seems very secure and is a bit faster with page load times
also worked with all (9 extensions and 13 plugins and 4 themes i have except the yahoo plugins did not work)Cons: none that i know of
Summary: works great and is a bit faster then the old fire fox and about the same speed as chrome but is more secure then chrome
