Note: Firefox 3 Beta is a developer preview release of Mozilla's next generation Firefox browser and is being made available for testing purposes only.. Firefox 3 Beta is based on the new Gecko 1.9 Web rendering platform, which has been under development for the past 27 months and includes nearly 2 million lines of code changes, fixing more than 11,000 issues. Gecko 1.9 includes some major re-architecting for performance, stability, correctness, and code simplification and sustainability. Firefox 3 has been built on top of this new platform resulting in a more secure, easier to use, more personal product with a lot under the hood to offer website and Firefox add-on developers.
Firefox 3 beta 5 is a bug-fixing release.

What's new in this version: Firefox 3 Beta 5 includes more security features with one click site info, malware protection, Web forgery protection, anti-virus integration, and new SSL error pages. Firefox now automatically checks add-on and plugin versions and will disable older, insecure versions. Vista Parental Controls have been integrated, and password management is easier than before.

I actually haven't had any trouble with this program AT ALL!! Great download manager. Download it!!

Still a slight memory load, but not near as bad as version 2.

Add-ons provide increased functionality not supported by the IE 7 browser. Faster, better layout, greater flexibility through customization.
Cons
Toolbars are not as easy to manage as IE, not for novice users, does not support all addons.

Mozilla could had done way better than this I hope they can change the Browser Revolution by Fireofox 4 which hopefully can come out in the summer of 2009-2010.

Mozilla always seems to be updating this navigator and it only gets better. I noticed one minor bug and the software reported it it's self.
Cons
I miss all my cool plug'ins and add-ons, maybe they'll be updated soon...

I love firefox , so much so I always come back to it. Great set up , navigation and features.
Cons
slow , .....slow. eats memory , eats cycles. about:config = useless when trying to negate that problem. crashes every chance it can get.

It does appear to be a lot 'slicker and faster.

The 'Add-ons' need to catch up fast as this is one of the best features of the earlier releases.

It crashs every time I try to enter yahoo mail, deletes mail when not checked, and loads very slow. There should have been alot more concern with protection also. It did not allow my virus protection work properly. If all mis-functions are corrected, then maybe I may concern myself to reload it, for now I will use the other browsers !!
