Even though Internet Explorer dominates the Web browser market, you might wonder why if you spend some time with Mozilla Firefox. This light and nimble Web wonder brought tabbed browsing into the mainstream (IE7 recently jumped on the bandwagon) and offers countless ways to customize it through extensions and themes. Drag-and-drop tabs with individual close buttons help keep your content organized the way you like, and you can further streamline your browsing through the use of extensive hot keys. You'll find all of the regular options and features required for surfing the Web in the default setup, but the groundbreaking features come with the thousands of third-party extensions. Likewise, if you don't like the look of the default interface, there are hundreds of slick themes to use, though many weren't updated for version 2 at its release.
Firefox is the perfect browser for those involved with Web design and coding. A JavaScript debugger comes standard, and Firefox displays the page-source code in a new window, using indents and color-coded tags similar to an HTML editor. The built-in pop-up blocker works great for most sites, and new antiphishing protections and enhanced security for extensions are in the version 2 release. Anyone looking for a full-featured browser with seemingly endless ways to customize should download this powerhouse.

Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.6
"It's now my default browser!"
Pros: As usual, with all version 2's, it's one of the best browsers available. This version though, opens faster and the pages much better in that it hit the links fully. It remains extremely customizable wit themes and extensions. It's secure and works great with the newest version of "Java Runtime". It's much better then any IE based browser. I even prefer it to "Opera'. I'm using it more then any other browser installed on my system and I have it set as default.
Cons: Each version is better then the last. With 2.0.0.6, I have no cons to offer.

"Finally Did The Right Thing & Came Back"
Pros: For a time there I decided to give SeaMonkey a test run however it was missing my most important feature "LIVE BOOKMARKS" I work in the media & getting the latest news & information is important to me in my line of work, When I tried SeaMonkey I found that I was using more extensions with that browser than with Firefox. I use the Sage extension to read my live bookmarks & it works fantastic plus Sage has several styles you can use which you can find on their website, I must admit that I did find SeaMonkey a little bit faster however I found that when I had the extensions I required installed it was about the same speed as Firefox & a web browser should not be judged on speed alone. I also like the security features in Firefox which gives me piece of mind when surfing the net plus it's very easy to customize
Cons: None however I will give some advice & that's not too go overboard on extensions & themes as it may become buggy which is not the fault of Mozilla as many of these extensions and themes are third party.

Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.6
Pros: Fast browser, you can download add-ons for FireFox and install them, this delivers you more functionality and you can do things that you normally can't do first installed FireFox.
The add-ons website is constantly updated and you can search the website for add-ons and even register for a free account there as well.
Cons: Nothing whatsoever. This is the best browser around.
