Even though Internet Explorer dominates the Web browser market, you might wonder why if you spend some time with Mozilla Firefox. This light and nimble Web wonder brought tabbed browsing into the mainstream (IE7 recently jumped on the bandwagon) and offers countless ways to customize it through extensions and themes. Drag-and-drop tabs with individual close buttons help keep your content organized the way you like, and you can further streamline your browsing through the use of extensive hot keys. You'll find all of the regular options and features required for surfing the Web in the default setup, but the groundbreaking features come with the thousands of third-party extensions. Likewise, if you don't like the look of the default interface, there are hundreds of slick themes to use, though many weren't updated for version 2 at its release.
Firefox is the perfect browser for those involved with Web design and coding. A JavaScript debugger comes standard, and Firefox displays the page-source code in a new window, using indents and color-coded tags similar to an HTML editor. The built-in pop-up blocker works great for most sites, and new antiphishing protections and enhanced security for extensions are in the version 2 release. Anyone looking for a full-featured browser with seemingly endless ways to customize should download this powerhouse.

Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.4
Pros: Firefox keeps getting better and better.Installation was quick and smooth.Didn't take much space on my hard drive.Clean interface, quick opening tabs.Firefox is fully customizable.Firefox community is big with many skins, search engines, dictionaries and lots of other things and everything is free.As for security, it has a good anti-fraud protection and according to Secuina Firefox has less vulnerability than Internet explorer and they are rated less critical. It includes a download manager and makes downloads quicker. If you want a safer and a better browser then Firefox is a must have.
Cons: It can be slow and unresponsive sometimes.

"The browser continues to improve"
Pros: There isn't much to say if you've used Mozilla Firefox 2.0 and up. Little changes here and there. The browser is still superb!

Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.4
"Just removing a spot or two from the king's robe!"
Pros: There are no earth shaking new features in this new version as it is essentially a security update. While Firefox is a fairly secure browser periodically security problems arise that have to be taken care of. This particular version update addresses 5 problems, 1 critical vulnerability dealing with the way Firefox handles add-on updates, a high level vulnerability, and 3 low level ones. Also addressed are some compatibility issues with Microsoft Vista. It's nice to see the people at Mozilla stay on top of these things.

Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.4
Pros: Better than IE (I know that's not saying much) and very customizable. Also, it's very secure.
Cons: Since I've upgraded from v. 2.0.0.3, when I start up Firefox the tabs from the previous session open up empty instead of opening up as they were when Firefox closed.

Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.4
Pros: Whats not to like? This is one great browser. Tabbed Web browsing and lots of great plug-ins and far more reliable than IE6. Plus, you notice that IE7 has now come out with tabbed web browsing, well imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Far be it for Microsoft to admit that Firefox is kicking their can.
Cons: It's tricky getting around some of the new security features to do some common tasks like cut and pasting something that contains script, but these are only inconveniences and unfortunately necessary! All in all a great browser.
