Publisher's description
From Mozilla :Note: Firefox 2 beta 1 is a developer preview release of the next-generation Firefox browser and it is being made available for testing purposes only. Firefox 2 beta 1 is intended for Web application developers and the Firefox testing community. Current users of Mozilla Firefox 1.x should not use Firefox 2 beta 1.
Firefox 2 will aim to build on the success of Firefox by addressing issues related to the problem of managing the vast amounts of information available on the Internet. Our goal is to provide a browser that helps users manage and organize their online information channels.
Firefox 2 beta 1 adds built-in phishing protection, search suggestions, in-line spell checking, the ability to re-open closed tabs, and much more.
Note: Beta or prerelease software is not intended for inexperienced users, as the software may contain bugs or may potentially damage your system. We strongly recommend that users exercise caution and save all mission-critical data before installing or using this software.

Version: Mozilla Firefox 2 beta 1
Pros: I love this Browser. I was using it extensively during the alpha releases. At that time Tap mix plus was unavailable along with others so I went back to the standard. Many more extensions are available
Cons: Personal; This is perfect for me now. All extensions are not available yet (Although these cats work real fast) I needed to "CUT BACK" on m,y use of extensions I have become an extension addict and have admitted my weakness and am now in a FF 12 step extension addiction program. I use this as my plunge into this recovery. Note I also use another Browser that needs no extensions with everythin on house that one starts with an"O"

Version: Mozilla Firefox 2 beta 1
Pros: I had a glitch when installing over Firefox 1.5 but on a second try it was fine. Love the greater emphasis on tabs, they really speed flipping between sites but even when going to a site for the first time it is faster than 1.5 and waaaaay faster than Mr Gates' dinosaur.
I have tried IE7 beta and had nothing but trouble. I also objected, on principle, to being 'validated' (spied on) without a search warrant. If my network cards were Linux compatible I would say goodbye to MSoft forever.
Cons: It's not quite perfect. LOL.

Version: Mozilla Firefox 2 beta 1
"Better, but not ready for everyone to switch."
Pros: Of course it's free. Security updates. The live bookmarks are a nice addition.
Cons: Only con I have found is it isn't compatiable with most of my add-ons.

Version: Mozilla Firefox 2 beta 1
"Firefox changed the way I see the web"
Pros: I've been using this for only couple of days but I am loving it already! When you start it for the first time, you'll see no big difference. Just close button on every tab. But when you see session restore, spell checker, grayed search bar or other built in features, you will know that this is fully shaped product. Microsoft will maybe be at this point with IE9.
Cons: Cons are not really about Fx2. But I am missing my extensions and themes. I hope in a few days I'll see new compatible versions of them! And about reviewers giving 1-2 stars to Fx because there's no extensions or themes all I can say is that they are off the topic. You are commenting Fx, not extensions.
In fact, one thing is about Fx2. I would have loved if there was "Places" here.

Version: Mozilla Firefox 2 beta 1
Pros: Still the best browser there is!!!
Cons: There is no huge difference in this version compared to the older versions. Suprising considering that this is a whole new version soon to come out.
