Note: Bon Echo Alpha 1 is a developer preview release of the next-generation Firefox browser and it is being made available for testing purposes only. Bon Echo Alpha 1 is intended for Web application developers and the Firefox testing community. Current users of Mozilla Firefox 1.x should not use Bon Echo Alpha 1.
Firefox 2 will aim to build on the success of Firefox by addressing issues related to the problem of managing the vast amounts of information available on the Internet. Our goal is to provide a browser that helps users manage and organize their online information channels.
Note: Beta or prerelease software is not intended for inexperienced users, as the software may contain bugs or may potentially damage your system. We strongly recommend that users exercise caution and save all mission-critical data before installing or using this software.

+ The Appearance, Functionality and all other Features are SAME as Firefox 1.5x.

- Do NOT install now as it will NOT support any of your PREVIOUS Extensions/addons.
** You will loose nothing because it Appears Similar to your previous Firefox Version 1.5x Except the Icon is Changed to BLUE color.

I can't believe how stable this primitive preview is.
-New Features: Places-Improved Bookmarking/History/RSS Feeds.
-Features to come in future alpha's, beta's, and release candidates:
* in-line spell-checking
* anti-phishing tool (from Google)
* Improved UI (overall, extensions manager, etc.)
* Improved navigation, rendering (updated rendering engine)
* and much more.
Cons
it's still in alpha, i wouldn't download it if i were going for a main browser to use (I'd go with Firefox 1.5). It's fun to use it on a flash drive and what not though.

Yeah this is way better.
More faster and alot smoother worth getting.
This wont do anything to your computer you shouldnt be scared by the bit it says at the bottom of The Publishers Description.
Doesnt Remove the old Firefox that makes it better.

Have to get addons again and most themes dont work.
Only about 2 themes for 2.0 and there good.
Doesnt say size of text or pecentage its just plus and minus.

As the warning suggests don't download this version if you have 1.0+ versions running on your system. All my extensions are now permanently disabled and are incompatible with this version. I think it's irresponsible of Download,com to advertise this release prominantly when few people can actually use it without problems. No internet problems, but it's obviously not the same!
