Movie Torrent is a basic peer-to-peer file-sharing client that lets users download a variety of different media types. Although the program works just fine, expect to seek additional instruction if you're not already familiar with torrents.
The program's interface is basic, with buttons and drop-down menus at the top that allow access to the program's features. Things aren't particularly intuitive, and users who are new to torrent downloading will likely be confused. In fact, although the program's Web site states that users can search for torrents, we couldn't locate the search feature, leaving us on our own when it comes to finding torrents to download. Although the program has a Help menu, there's no actual Help file either within the program or online, which we found doubly frustrating given the program's unintuitive nature. Once we went to another Web site in search of torrents and found one we wanted to download, the program worked well enough, quickly opening the files and beginning the download. The program also makes it easy for users to turn existing files into torrents for sharing. The program is just fine for users who have used other torrent clients and are familiar with their features, but brand-new torrent users will likely find that Movie Torrent offers too little guidance.
Movie Torrent is free. It installs politely but leaves a file behind upon removal. We recommend this program to intermediate and advanced users of the torrent format.

It asked me if I wanted to install a toolbar, unchecked all, still added toolbar to my browser.

This app is pointless, the search engine just uses Google. Now I have a toolbar that isn't in my remove programs. Lovely, thanks for the crappy review Cnet!
I told it not to install it, did any way! Plus, it's not in the remove programs option in your control panel. Total garbage...use google and you get the same results.

for newbies it still not easy enough to under stand you tend to get overloaded with information a longer video would be great. even YouTube makes a hash of it. as a newbie my self i wallowed and sank in tech talk. it took a friend to explain it for me otherwise id still be wallowing in it

I did not even try to use this thing. It crashed Firefox session as it installed a stupid toolbar and caused my in-progress downloads to terminate.
I hate software that loads up little extras without permission.
