Useful aide reduces user mouse movements in a couple of ways, but setting one option proves difficult for some. MouseImp Pro's dialog interface is merely a set of pull-downs in a few tabs. We found the options easy to set, except for some difficulty setting the Autoshrink function. A helpful Productivity tab lists the total benefits since installing the program.

MouseImp Pro's primary function helpfully adds scroll-from-anywhere functionality to your programs. With just a user-selected click, you don't need to use scroll bars anymore. Of course, many new mice add that feature to the middle scroll wheel. This utility gives you much greater control over the feature with simple pull-downs for activation, slow scrolling, and disabling. Scrolling speed and sensitivity are also easy to set. Much less easy to set is the program's AutoShrink feature. When enabled it quickly reduces windows to just their toolbar. However, adding programs to the feature is a multistep process that doesn't always work.

Though its secondary function doesn't work as well as we'd like, MouseImp Pro's AutoScroll proves to be a great help. Users of every level who spend a lot of time scrolling will find this freeware useful.
