The Dealer deals two hands: the banker hand and the player hand. Before these are dealt, bets may be placed on the banker hand, on the player hand, or on a tie. In a Tie, money on the Banker hand is returned.Once bets are placed, the banker hand and player hand are dealt, with a final hand of two or three cards for each.Cards are valued as follows. 10s and face cards are counted as zero. All other cards are valued according to their number. Only the last digit of the total number of a hand is used, so all hands have values between of 0 and 9 inclusive. The hand with the higher value wins; if the hands have the same value, the result is a tie.An initial hand with a value of 8 or 9 is called a natural. If either hand is a natural, its holder must expose it and the game ends. Some other rules apply:The Player or banker may have to draw additional cards according to the value of their initial two cards. The rules governing this are explained in the manual.
