It's a cancer. You remove it from your computer and it reappears. HOW? I don't know. I removed it 3 times and it returned. It must be pretty bad when a number of legitimate sites have to provide step by step directions to actually get it out of your computer. The company support is a joke, they don't even respond.
Summary
BTW just like all the other reviews, no one would ever install this virus on purpose, it came piggybacked on a legitimate PDF to Word conversion program. BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT THE AUTO CHECKED BOXES!!!!Here's the site I used to finally (I hope) remove it http://www.anti-spyware-101.com/remove-mixidj

Summary
Absolutely and under NO CIRCUMSTANCES download this! I downloaded EDRAW and MIXI.DJ was included. I hijacked my browser, changed my home page, and spammed popups.
Uninstalling didn't removed it. Luckily, I use Firefox and was able to remove the extension. It's a virus. Thanks, cnet. -

I installed PCB Artist from CNET and this malware came along for the ride. It took over IE and Firefox basically Spamming me with neon pulsating buttons warning me that my computer was too slow. And now it was! It took 2 minutes to load CNN as well as most other Web Pages. And it is very difficult to get rid of. You think you've gotten it then it reinstalls itself.
Summary
Be careful to avoid accidentally installing this malware at all cost. Nobody would install it on purpose.

Has installed itself everywhere, changed my homepage, and is impossible to uninstall. AVG doesn't recognize it as malware so it didn't catch it in time.
Summary
I tried to download Minecraft from CNET for my son. It didn't work, but mixi dj came with it and screwed everything up. I am so unbelievably angry about this. I thought CNET was trustworthy???? Is anything trustworthy online anymore?

Downloaded Active ISO Burner from CNET and it installed Mixi.dj which has shut down my virus protection, changed my browners, and now I'm experiencing hard drive failures.

None I can think off as I didn't want this software to take over my browsers.
Cons
I downloaded a pdf merger from cNet and I got this program as a ride along. It basically reconfigured all my broswers (Firefox and IE) and shut down all the pages. I'm lucky the favorites is still there. Now I am not sure what malware, keystroke logger etc has been installed. CNet, this is not what I expect from a well reputed site like yours!
Summary
This software is very very intrusive. CNET, remove it please.
