Mixcraft is an affordable multi-track audio and MIDI recording studio that enables you to compose original music, record your band, create a podcast, or remix a song. Use it as a multi-track recorder or as a music loop remix program. As a multi-track audio recording program, Mixcraft allows you to record and play multiple tracks of audio and MIDI virtual instruments at the same time. Add effect processing such as reverb, delay, guitar amp simulator, flanger or any 3rd party VST" or DirectX" effects. Hook up a MIDI keyboard and you can play a whole studio full of virtual synthesizers! As remix software, it supports Apple Loops", Acid Loops" and our own custom loop format. Mixcraft's Song Kits allow you to create your own song in dozens of styles to sing along or rap to. Creating your own loop or extracting a loop from a well known song is a few clicks away. With Mixcraft, you can always be on the beat. When you've finished your project, mix down your music to CD or MP3.
Version 4.1 build 89 adds MIDI support, a piano roll editor and virtual instruments turning any computer into a synthesizer powerhouse.

Pros: still affordable and very powerful for the patient. easy to learn by the simplest of users. moving sound in is a dream.
Cons: a list for you
1. i hate the fact that it loops back to the begining of all the tracks after playing the shortest of sound.
2. i hate the fact i cant just push my wheel down and pan the music, i have to use the 1984 slide bar
3. i hate the fact that i used to be able to change songs temp but now im dedicated to the recorded tempo.

"THE BEST MUSIC EDITING SOFTWARE AVAILABLE!!"
Pros: The Recording is perfect, in sync with the music and sounds proffesional
It lets you compose your own music with the provided sample loops, in various categories (mainly rock, but including hip hop and vibe hop).
Cons: Nothing Much Bad about it except the fact that it need more effects!!
